Los Arrayanes Coffee Growers Association
A 99-member cooperative spanning Pitalito, Palestina, Acevedo, Isnos, and San Augustín, Los Arrayanes honors a five-decade legacy while advancing quality and sustainability. Named after one of the region's earliest coffee stations, the association combines traditional farming heritage with modern practices—including densimetric sorting, solar power, and composting. Their partnership with Integra Trading enables a unique pre-drying model that accelerates inventory turnover, improves consistency, and strengthens farmer revenue.
Committed to direct farmer-buyer relationships and gender equity, the association invests in training women across quality control and management, amplifying their influence throughout the industry.
Swiss Water Decaffeination Process
This chemical-free process begins with gentle hydration to preserve origin character. Natural Green Coffee Extract—water infused with coffee's essential flavors, no caffeine or chemicals—surrounds the beans, allowing only caffeine to escape while flavor compounds remain locked within. Custom temperature-controlled drying ensures consistent moisture and freshness, followed by chemical-free carbon filtration that removes caffeine while preserving every other element. The refreshed extract cycles back through the system, creating a closed-loop, fully sustainable, organic-certified process that maintains complete flavor integrity.
