Brazil Carmo De Minas, Minas Gerais
This coffee hails from Brazil's Carmo De Minas and Minas Gerais regions. It is a natural, single-origin blend sourced from the farms of Sertao. This yellow bourbon variety is grown at an elevation of 1100-1400, on the 850-hectare Fazenda Sertão farm. The farm is home to a variety of coffee trees, including Red and Yellow Bourbon, Yellow Catucai, and Yellow Catuai, as well as bananas and corn, and even houses dairy livestock. Fazenda Sertão holds a special love story as it was passed down to Jose Isidro Pereira from his mother, who had inherited the land. Though this ended his career as a dentist, it set him on a new path as a coffee farmer. In 1949, Jose Isidro met his soulmate Nazareth, who now runs the farm with the help of their children: Francisco, Luiz Paulo, Clycia, and Sandra
